Dave Beemer

President

With certifications as a Master Electrician and an Electrical Contractor in six states, and additional training from Michigan State University, Dave Beemer undertakes his duties as president in an innovative and efficient manner. Since joining Windemuller, he has held a number of positions including estimator and project manager as well as Branch Manager. Now, he holds the top job, overseeing a vast array of projects and branches, and taking responsibility for the overall direction, growth, and success of Windemuller. Dave is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors, American Subcontractors Association, Builders Exchange, and Associated General Contractors of America, he has also helped with Habitat for Humanity. Dave has been married to his wife Cathy for over 30 years and has three adult children.

                                                                   


 

Steve Alles

Chief Financial Officer

With duties that include budget management, cost and benefit analysis, and forecasting needs, Steve Alles is responsible for steering Windemuller in a financial direction that mirrors our overall company strategy and business leadership. He graduated Cum Laude from Hope College in 2001, with degrees in both Business Administration and Psychology, and joined Windemuller as an Office Manager in 2002. He is the current Vice President of ASAM (American Subcontractor Association of Michigan) and a member of CFMA (Construction Financial Management Association), ASA (American Subcontractor Association), and ABC (Associated Builder and Contractors), and is involved in various leadership roles at his local church. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, travel, football, music, and spending time with his wife and their two children.

                                                          


 

Scot DeYoung

Vice President of Construction Services

With more than two decades of electrical contracting experience, Scot DeYoung  serves as Windemuller’s Vice President of Construction. Scot leads the company’s Project Managers and Prefabrication department and ensures they complete projects efficiently, on-time and within budget. He strives to incorporate new technology and innovative approaches to the construction process. Scot is active in many trade groups including LEED, US Green Building Council, Associated Builders & Contractors and American Subcontractor Association. He is also involved in the community at large as a school board member, church school superintendent and youth soccer coach. Scot is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

                                                 


 

Matt Bertke

Vice President of Pre-Construction Services

Matt Bertke brings more than 30 years of experience to his role as Vice President of Pre-Construction Services. Matt has served in a multitude of capacities in the electrical industry, which provides him with the strong background necessary to successfully lead teams of Estimators and Engineers, as well as manage the pre-planning of Windemuller projects. He has played an active role in training organizations, including Independent Electrical Contractors and Scarlet Oaks in Ohio. In his free time, Matt can be found coaching, biking, fishing, boating and spending time with his family.

                                                 


 

John Pyke

Vice President of Technical Services

Since returning to Windemuller in 2002, John’s role has grown from Account Manager to Project Manager and now Vice President of Technical Services. He performs the day-to-day functions of managing and supporting his team throughout Michigan, which consists of Automation, Electrical, Outdoor Utility, Communications & IT Account Managers, Service Coordinators, Service Technicians and the Electrical Testing Department. John also has an education background as an adjunct professor of electrical technology, NEC code update instructor and certified NCCER craft instructor. He is a member of Associated Builders & Contractors, volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, children and grandchild.

Devin L. Hill

Sr. Field Operations Manager & Corporate Safety Director

Joining the Windemuller team in 2011, Devin’s focus is on daily operations, ensuring staffing levels are maintained to provide excellence in customer service and working with the operations team to provide forecast in manpower projections for ongoing and future work. Employee development, education and training are priorities for continued growth and industry changes. As a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist and OSHA Outreach instructor, Devin works with the Safety Team ensuring policies, compliance and training to maintain a culture of safety — providing a safe and healthy work environment for all of our employees and customers. Devin is active in training, recruiting and promoting our industry, via involvement with the Associated Builders and Contractors, Builders Exchange, and as an Instructor at Northwestern Michigan College in the Construction Technologies Dept., He is an avid cyclist and duck hunter and enjoys traveling, working towards being a professional grandfather of his 10 grandchildren.
 

                                                                   


 

Allyson Baumgard

Human Resources Manager

As Human Resources Manager, Allyson leads Windemuller's employee-oriented programs and practices that reinforce our high-performance culture. Joining the company in 2016, she has also managed the recruitment and ongoing development of our awesome team. Allyson holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Central Michigan University and has more than seven years of professional experience, primarily in the construction industry. She is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors Young Professionals, Human Resources Group of West Michigan, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Association for Human Resource Management (AHRM) and volunteers for the Women’s Resource Center in Grand Rapids. In her free time, Allyson enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids and exploring outdoor activities.
