Dave Beemer

President

With certifications as a Master Electrician and an Electrical Contractor in six states, and additional training from Michigan State University, Dave Beemer undertakes his duties as president in an innovative and efficient manner. Since joining Windemuller, he has held a number of positions including estimator and project manager as well as Branch Manager. Now, he holds the top job, overseeing a vast array of projects and branches, and taking responsibility for the overall direction, growth, and success of Windemuller. Dave is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors, American Subcontractors Association, Builders Exchange, and Associated General Contractors of America, he has also helped with Habitat for Humanity. Dave has been married to his wife Cathy for over 30 years and has three adult children.

                                                                   


 

Jim Rose

Vice President

On board with Windemuller since 1992, Vice President Jim Rose organizes, directs, and oversees that operations run smoothly in order to meet our customer's needs and expectations. He is currently a member of numerous industry associations throughout the state, including the Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association, Northwestern Michigan Electrical Contractors, and the Builders Exchange of Northwestern Michigan. Jim and his wife Katie spend most of their free time keeping up with their two active kids and enjoy travel, boating and relaxing with friends and family.

                                             


 

Steve Alles

Chief Financial Officer

With duties that include budget management, cost and benefit analysis, and forecasting needs, Steve Alles is responsible for steering Windemuller in a financial direction that mirrors our overall company strategy and business leadership. He graduated Cum Laude from Hope College in 2001, with degrees in both Business Administration and Psychology, and joined Windemuller as an Office Manager in 2002. He is the current Vice President of ASAM (American Subcontractor Association of Michigan) and a member of CFMA (Construction Financial Management Association), ASA (American Subcontractor Association), and ABC (Associated Builder and Contractors), and is involved in various leadership roles at his local church. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, travel, football, music, and spending time with his wife and their two children.

                                                          


 

Tim VanOverLoop

Vice President of Technical Services

A licensed journeyman, Tim VanOverLoop joined Windemuller in 1994. Since then, he has moved through the ranks, serving as a Senior Manager for the Automation Division, an Electrician, a System Integrator and Branch Manager. Tim is now our Vice President of Technical Services, responsible for the company's Automation, Communications and IT groups. His goal is to work with these groups to strengthen Windemuller's innovative technical service offering. Tim is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors West Michigan Chapter – serving on the Electrical Contractors Councils – and is an OPTO22 Certified Trainer. When not on the job, Tim spends his time with his wife and kids and volunteers as a youth hockey and baseball coach.

                                                 


 

Scot DeYoung

Vice President of Construction Services

With more than two decades of electrical contracting experience, Scot DeYoung  serves as Windemuller’s Vice President of Construction. Scot leads the company’s pre-construction and construction teams and ensures they complete projects efficiently and within budget. He strives to incorporate new technology and innovative approaches to the construction process. Scot is active in many trade groups including LEED, US Green Building Council, Associated Builders & Contractors and American Subcontractor Association. He is also involved in the community at large as a school board member, church school superintendent and youth soccer coach. Scot is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

                                                 


 

John Pyke

Vice President of Electrical Services

Since returning to Windemuller in 2002, John’s role has grown from Account Manager to Project Manager and now Vice President of Electrical Services. He performs the day-to-day functions of managing and supporting his team throughout Michigan, which consists of Electrical Account Managers, Outdoor Utility Account Managers, Service Coordinators, Service Technicians and the Electrical Testing Department. John also has an education background as an adjunct professor of electrical technology, NEC code update instructor and certified NCCER craft instructor. He is a member of Associated Builders & Contractors, volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

                                                 


 

Jo Carlson

Director of Human Resources

Jo Carlson serves as a leader and advocate for Windemuller’s more than 200 employees throughout Michigan. Her specialty areas include benefits, compensation, building employee relationships, training, legal compliance, coaching/mentoring and risk management. With more than 25 years of experience in the construction and manufacturing industry – with more than 15 years in strategic leadership positions – Jo is dedicated to making Windemuller a truly great place to work! She holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources from Central Michigan University and is a member of Society for Human Resources Management, HR Group of West Michigan and the local chapter of Association for Human Resources Management. Jo is a volunteer for families considering foster care or adoption. She and her husband have two sons and enjoy NASCAR hiking and photography.
